So, I have compiled a list of funny things that have come out of our mouths lately, during our days and nights of sleep deprivation…
1. “I went from beer bottles to baby bottles…” This is the country song Jay has been working on, since the girls arrived.
2. “I need to pick up more dough for the flowers.” This was said by Jay, just this morning.
3. “Tell her she needs lipo!” This was said by Jay, as he was holding up Abby in the doctor’s office, pretending she was talking to Sydney. (This was also done in what Jay must consider to be Abby’s voice, and was said in front of the doctor.)
4. “Do you promise you will help me with her twin?” This was said by me, while on the phone with a doctor’s assistant, after she told me she would help with Sydney at an appointment for Abby.
5. “We need more wiapers and dipes.” I find myself saying this quite often.
6. “One more surgery, doc! I know I can look just like him.” This was said by Jay, as a Rod Stewart look-alike, was walking into a plastic surgeon’s office.
7. “No, I don’t like candycorn.” This is the latest song by Moose A. Moose. We have found ourselves singing it, in Moose’s voice.
There are many, many more I could add to the list, but for some reason my mind has drawn a blank…must be the lack of sleep! Happy Friday!

#3 – very classic Jay. i miss that humor!
#4 – a mother’s desperation… you are super smart to make her promise!
#5 – so funny… and such a mom-thing!
I’m glad you enjoy our sense of humor! I can’t wait to see pics of that new baby boy! I bet he will be here anyday!
hahahaha!!! i used to say the wipers and dipes too! and the Rod Stewart thing cracked me up! Hope Abby’s new meds work to help her sleep
Juli- I’m glad I was able to crack you up! So far, Abby’s new medication seems to be helping with her sleep, although it has only been two nights. Now, we need to get Sydney through this nightmare they call teething, so she can get a good night’s sleep! Have a great weekend.
Carly
No I don’t like candy corn, no I don’t like candy corn….
It’s nice to know we aren’t the only ones with that song stuck in our heads!
That is so funny…my twins both used to scream bloody murder when this song would come on last year..they were afraid of it…so far so good this year though!
Haha. Sydney loves it, but she loves anything with Moose. She is fascinated by him!
